Operation Christmas Child - Coordinated by Tonya Killick and Kelly Meyer

"First off, a BIG Thank You to all who supported Operation Christmas Child this year! We collected 94 boxes and donated $612.54 toward shipping costs. Through your generosity children around the world will not only receive a box at Christmas, but be provided with the opportunity to become followers of Jesus Christ; a true blessing. Thank you and do not forget to watch for those good deals to include in next years Operation Christmas Child Project!"

Coordinates the donation of shoe boxes packed with simple gifts for a child as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Project worldwide.  Remember the true mission of this ministry is sending out the message to children that Jesus loves them.  It is very special when a letter is included from you and your family. It may include a picture as well. If you give your address, you may even get a letter back. Remember you can track a box by going to the following website www.samaritanspurse.org/ezgive and printing off labels that have a bar code on them. Follow your box(es) around the world and see where they will help a child find out about Christ’s love.

Plainwell Christmas Tree Project - Coordinated by Liz Jones

Coordinates the donation of gifts from our church during the annual community-wide Plainwell Volunteer Christmas Project.   Many church volunteers also help with the sorting, wrapping and delivery of the gifts.  Tags are now available on the tree in the lobby.  Select a tag or two, shop for the child identified on the tag, and place your UNWRAPPED gifts underneath the tree.
